As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help maintain a welcoming, secure environment by managing access points, verifying credentials, monitoring alarms, and responding to security-related concerns. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat06:00 AM - 02:00 PMSun06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do: • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. • Monitor and control access to the location by verifying credentials, managing visitor entry, and maintaining accurate access records. • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel. • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help to deter unauthorized access. • Operate access-control systems, observe entry and exit activity, and report security-related concerns to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts. Minimum Requirements: • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located. • Alarm panel experience is preferred. • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. • Access control and badge experience is preferred. • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
