Job Title Registered Nurse – Cardiovascular Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (CVPICU) Location Phoenix, AZ | Acute Care / Pediatric Hospital Schedule / Job Type Contract | Rotating Shifts (Days and Nights Available: 7a–7p & 7p–7a) | Onsite Key Responsibilities • Deliver professional nursing care appropriate to each patient's age and condition in alignment with evidence-based nursing and patient care practice standards. • Collaborate with the healthcare team, patient, and family to promote patient health and support individualized nursing and medical plans of care. • Provide care in accordance with hospital goals, values, and regulatory standards. • Float between CVPICU and NICU/PICU units across multiple facility locations as assigned. • Adhere to facility infection control protocols, including masking requirements during respiratory virus season as applicable. Required Qualifications • Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a pediatric CVICU setting. • ADN, BSN, or Diploma in Nursing required. • Current Arizona RN license or RN license from a compact state with multistate privileges, or ability to establish Arizona licensure prior to start date. • Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association. • Current PALS certification from the American Heart Association. • Flu vaccination required October through April; candidates who decline must complete a Declination & Masking Protocol agreement and mask during the full respiratory virus season. Preferred Experience / Skills • Experience at a facility with a Level III or Level IV NICU strongly preferred. • Experience floating between NICU and PICU environments. • Children's hospital experience preferred. • Current NRP certification preferred.
