Electrical Foreman (Commercial / MEP Construction) Location: New Orleans, LA Pay: $35–$40/hour + Overtime + Benefits Industry: Electrical Construction / MEP / Commercial Projects Status: Full-Time A growing MEP contractor in the New Orleans area is seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman to lead field operations on commercial construction projects. This is a confidential opportunity with a company expanding its electrical division and backlog across Louisiana. This role is ideal for a hands-on electrical leader who can manage crews, coordinate with project teams, and ensure high-quality execution in the field. Electrical Foreman Responsibilities • Lead and supervise electrical crews on commercial construction projects • Coordinate daily field activities, manpower, and jobsite logistics • Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and specifications • Ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and within scope • Manage installations of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and controls • Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades (HVAC, plumbing, MEP) • Maintain quality control and ensure compliance with NEC and local codes • Track progress and provide updates to project leadership Qualifications • 5+ years of experience in electrical construction, with leadership or foreman experience preferred • Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems and installations • Ability to lead crews and manage multiple priorities on active jobsites • Experience with MEP coordination and multi-trade environments • Familiarity with NEC codes and safety standards • Strong communication and problem-solving skills Projects Work includes a variety of commercial and MEP construction projects, such as: • Multifamily developments • Commercial buildings • Hospitality projects • Institutional facilities Compensation & Benefits • Hourly Pay: $35–$40/hour (based on experience) • Overtime opportunities • Full benefits package (health, dental, vision) • Paid time off and holidays • Long-term growth opportunities with a growing MEP contractor Why This Opportunity • Join a growing electrical division within an established MEP contractor • Strong project pipeline and consistent backlog • Opportunity to lead crews and grow into higher leadership roles • Work locally in the New Orleans area (minimal travel) ?
