Description Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Job Description The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for providing assigned long-term care residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident's care plan and nursing supervisor. Responsibilities & Duties • Observe and report any changes in patients’ conditions to the nursing staff. • Assist resident with dressing, grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair, incontinence care etc. • Provide support to residents with behavioral health needs. • Take and record temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration rate, fluid intake and output as directed. • Assist residents with range of motion exercises, eating, and mobility/ transfers.
