Description Burnett Medical Center is currently seeking a casual Radiologic Technologist for our Radiology department. JOB SUMMARY Under the direction of the Radiologist or Manager, administers ionizing radiation to patients for the purpose of obtaining radiographic images; assists during fluoroscopy and special procedures. Operates x-ray equipment, prepares images, patient’s room, equipment, supplies and medications. Provides patient services using imaging modalities. Performs related duties as assigned. PRINCIPAL TASKS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILIITES • Performs radiologic duties for our Specialty Clinics, ED, and other outpatient work • Able to work in Surgery with the portable and/or C-arm • Assists the radiologist in general fluoroscopy work and as needed • CT experience is preferred • Willing to cross-train • Adaptable at multi-tasking with a variety of office needs, i.e., daily department charges, QI for equipment, scheduling and processing orders, billing for Radiologist, obtaining film requests • Take call with extra duties required during vacations and absences • Attends in-service meetings and other meetings as required • Willing to be flexible and work with fellow employees that allow a good work environment Requirements QUALIFICATIONS • Certified Radiologic Technologist (RT) in good standing • Must be ARRT Registered and hold a WI State License • Knowledgeable in all aspects of radiologic equipment, techniques, and procedures • Ability to interact cooperatively with physicians, employees and patients; represents organization in a professional manner
