Description Restoration 1 New Jersey · Denville, NJ · Full-time, on-site Base salary based on experience + performance bonus for hitting targets · Company vehicle · Phone and tablet We're looking for one leader to own our mitigation department: water, fire, smoke, and mold. You'll run the crews, set the standards, and build the team. This is not a role for someone who just wants to dispatch jobs. What you'll own • Daily scheduling and leadership of mitigation technicians and crew leads • Job quality from first call to final invoice: drying plans, moisture logs, photos, and equipment records that hold up to adjuster and TPA review • Accurate Xactimate scopes and estimates for mitigation • Reviewing every job file before it is invoiced • Hiring, training, and coaching techs, and holding them accountable • Working with adjusters, TPAs, property managers, and homeowners on site • Equipment, vehicle, and safety standards • Rotating on-call coverage for emergencies Requirements What you bring • 5+ years in water and fire mitigation, including at least 2 years leading crews • IICRC WRT and ASD required; AMRT and FSRT strongly preferred • Strong Xactimate skills for mitigation • Experience with job documentation tools (DryBook, Encircle, or similar) • A track record of clean files and low invoice reductions • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record Why join us • You'll run the department, not just a crew • A bonus tied to results you control: collected gross profit and fewer invoice reductions • Room to grow with one of North Jersey's established restoration companies • Health benefits, paid time off, holiday pay for the five major holidays, and a 401(k) with a 4% match after 12 months If you're a crew chief or mitigation PM ready to run your own department, let's talk.
