As a District Sign Technician, you are the quiet architect behind a maintenance section’s visual rhythm, transforming roads and highways into guided pathways and cities and towns into navigable stories. You blend precision with creativity, ensuring that every directional arrow, warning sign, roadway marker, and traffic signal serves its purpose while contributing to a visually cohesive transportation system. Whether braving the elements to repair a stop sign, maintaining traffic signals, or meticulously aligning signage as part of maintenance contract upgrades, your work shapes how people travel, discover, and interact with the communities they call home.
