As a Screener at a logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring access points, screening individuals and materials, and documenting security-related activity. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $16.33 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon07:00 AM - 03:00 PMTue07:00 AM - 03:00 PMWed07:00 AM - 03:00 PMThur07:00 AM - 03:00 PMSun07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do: • Provide customer service to clients, drivers, and visitors by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. • Screen employees, visitors, drivers, and deliveries entering designated areas in accordance with established access and screening protocols. • Monitor screening equipment and report prohibited items, suspicious activity, access concerns, and policy violations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management. • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures. • Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, loading zones, facility entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements: • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. • Access control and badge experience is preferred. • Customer service experience is preferred. • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
