Job Title Travel RN – Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) Location Tallahassee, FL | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM Key Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care in an Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU/Step-Down) setting within a 266-bed acute-care hospital • Monitor and assess patients requiring a higher level of observation than a general medical-surgical floor • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans • Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols • Document patient assessments, care provided, and clinical outcomes accurately and in a timely manner Required Qualifications • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Florida or a compact state license • Current BLS certification required • Prior experience in an IMCU, PCU, Step-Down, or similar intermediate care setting • Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) Preferred Experience / Skills • Previous travel nursing experience • Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythms • Experience in a large acute-care or multi-specialty hospital environment Why Join Us • Opportunity to work at a fully accredited acute-care facility offering a broad range of specialty services, including a Heart & Vascular Center, Stroke Center, Cancer Center, and more • Located in Tallahassee, FL — Florida's capital city, offering natural beauty, historical sites, and year-round community events
