Job Title Travel RN – PCU (Progressive Care Unit) Location Tallahassee, FL | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Expected 48 hours/week available Key Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU/IMC/Stepdown) setting within an acute-care hospital environment • Monitor and assess patients requiring intermediate-level care, identifying and responding to changes in patient condition • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans • Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory and facility standards • Adhere to all infection control, safety, and compliance policies throughout the shift Required Qualifications • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be valid and in good standing; Florida licensure or compact eligibility required • Current BLS certification required • Minimum of 1–2 years of PCU, IMC, or Stepdown nursing experience • Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced acute-care environment Preferred Experience / Skills • Prior travel nursing experience in a PCU or Stepdown setting • Familiarity with cardiac monitoring and telemetry in an intermediate care environment • Experience working within large, multi-service acute-care hospital systems Why Join Us • Opportunity to work at a fully accredited, 266-bed acute-care facility offering a broad range of specialty services in Florida's capital city • Join a mission-driven healthcare environment committed to delivering high-quality patient care and clinical excellence
