Job Title Travel RN – CVICU (Nights) Location Fort Walton Beach, FL | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) Key Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) setting • Monitor and assess critically ill cardiovascular patients, identifying and responding to changes in patient condition • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans • Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and established protocols • Maintain accurate and thorough patient documentation in compliance with facility and regulatory standards Required Qualifications • Active RN license valid in the state of Florida (or compact license eligibility) • BLS certification required • ACLS certification required • Minimum of 1–2 years of recent ICU or CVICU nursing experience Preferred Experience / Skills • Prior experience in a cardiovascular or cardiac intensive care unit • Familiarity with open heart surgery patient populations and post-operative cardiovascular care • Experience working in a high-acuity, trauma-capable acute care environment Why Join Us • Opportunity to work in a top-performing acute care facility recognized for quality cardiovascular, stroke, and trauma services • Gain experience in a dynamic, high-acuity CVICU alongside a team of highly respected clinical professionals
