Job Title Registered Nurse – Emergency Room Location Dayton, OH | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Nights | Flex Shift (17:00–05:30 or 19:00–07:30) | 3x12-hour shifts | 36 or 48 hours per week available | Every other weekend and holiday required Key Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting during night shift hours • Document all patient care activities and assessments accurately using Epic EMR • Float within the hospital or to nearby affiliated campuses based on census and skill set, including high-risk respiratory units; travelers are first to float at the facility's discretion • Maintain readiness to work every other weekend and holiday as required • Complete up to 24 hours of orientation modules upon assignment start • Complete required lab work and EKG/Dysrhythmia exam within 72 hours of signing contract Required Qualifications • Valid Ohio Registered Nurse license (any active state RN license or compact license accepted for submission; required license must be obtained before contract begins) • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) • ACLS certification required • PALS certification required • TNCC certification required • CPI, AVADE, or CalmEveryStorm certification required • Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible Preferred Experience / Skills • Minimum 1.5 years of Emergency Department experience • Proficiency with Epic EMR in an inpatient nursing environment • Comfort with floating to various units or nearby campuses based on census and clinical skill set Why Join Us • Flexible shift options (36 or 48 hours per week) offer scheduling variety within a dynamic ER environment • Candidates do not need their license in hand at time of application, allowing for a streamlined submission process
