Job Title Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry Location Greenville, SC | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts | 19:00–07:30 Key Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care on a medical-surgical unit specializing in Vascular and Urology populations, with overflow from General Surgery, Women's Specialty, and Medicine • Manage a patient assignment of 5–6 med-surgical, non-monitored patients with an average length of stay of 1–2 days • Perform dressing changes and provide care for patients with wound vacs and drains • Receive and care for patients transferred from PACU, ICU, and the ED • Float to other units and/or campuses as needed based on census, within scope of demonstrated competencies • Complete pre-assignment modules within 48 hours of receiving login credentials; modules are completed annually and are billable up to 16 hours Required Qualifications • Active South Carolina Registered Nurse (RN) license required • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS • Must pass an EKG exam as part of pre-start modules • Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit • Minimum 1 year of experience with Epic EMR required • Must reside more than 100 miles from all system facilities to be fully eligible; candidates residing 50–99.9 miles from the contracted campus may be considered at a reduced rate; candidates under 50 miles are ineligible (Night Shift – Adult Medical Tele/Multi-Specialty exception applies) • Weekend coverage required; expected every other weekend, though scheduling may vary based on need Preferred Experience / Skills • Prior experience with Vascular and Urology patient populations • Familiarity with caring for post-surgical patients, including those from PACU and ICU transfers • Experience with wound vac management and complex dressing changes Why Join Us • Pre-assignment orientation modules are compensable, with reimbursement available for up to 16 hours of module completion time • Opportunity to work within a structured, well-supported unit with defined nurse-to-patient ratios and dedicated support staff on every shift
