Job Title Radiation Therapist Location Eureka, CA | Acute Care Hospital Schedule / Job Type Contract | Days | 5x8-Hour Shifts | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Key Responsibilities • Deliver radiation therapy treatments to patients in accordance with prescribed treatment plans within an acute care hospital setting • Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment, ensuring accurate and safe delivery of treatments • Document patient care and treatment data accurately using Epic electronic health records • Float between sister facilities nearby the contracted facility as needed • Commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day Required Qualifications • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiation Therapist required • ARRT (T) certification required • BLS certification required • Valid state license required; compact license must be in hand at time of submission • Pending licenses are not accepted • Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible at standard rates; locals within 50 miles are accepted at an adjusted rate • All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of application; post-submission RTO requests may not be considered • 2 references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start Preferred Experience / Skills • Experience working in an acute care hospital environment • Familiarity with Epic charting system • Demonstrated flexibility with scheduling and willingness to float between like units Why Join Us • Free parking provided, with dedicated assignment parking arranged during orientation • First-time travelers are welcome, making this an excellent opportunity for those early in their travel career
